The application process is very straight forward. After contacting us through email or phone, we will ask for a CV and a 1-minute video highlighting your strengths and why you would like to teach English in China. You will then be passed to a recruiter who will conduct an online interview. If accepted, we will find a job for you right away! When we have found an employer, you will be able to view the contract. If you are happy and have signed the contract, we can start your visa process to begin your teaching experience in China. If you prefer to speak first about the experience, please do not hesitate to call our office in London. We are working and recruiting new ESL teachers all year around.
The key to a good CV and covering letter is to tailor them to suit the job opportunity as an ESL teacher in China. You CV and covering letter is the first thing we will look at before conducting an online interview. First impressions are everything! Getting to know you is important to us, so please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself fully. We want to see key skills and experience you have attained that is relevant to the job. Any experience in working with kids of where you have held some responsibility is great. As an ESL teacher, you will need to inspire and be engaging in different cultural arrangements. We also like to know why you are applying for this role and what you hope to get out of it.
If you do not have any work experience, do not worry, that is why we are here! As a recent graduate we do not expect so much. We are very flexible and open to all applicants. Talking about something you have done in your day to day life is enough. Through our online interview, we like to outline your motivations as well as ours. The interview is not intended to interrogate you, in fact quite the opposite. Rather, we hope to find common ground in your adventure to China. Our interview is always conducted by someone who has already done the experience, so we will be able to answer any questions you may have.
